Continental Luxury at your Windsor Palms
Resort Orlando Vacation Home
There are
many reasons for choosing an
Orlando vacation home to a
hotel room, and the continental luxury offered at
Windsor
Palms resort is just one of them. Every bedroom is themed
on one of the five major continents, and like all
Orlando
vacation villas, are more than worth the low cost you pay.
Before
discussing the amenities available at resorts such as
Windsor Palms in Orlando, let’s discuss the benefits of
hiring an
Orlando vacation home as opposed to a hotel in Orlando. It
needn’t be a villa – you could equally well have a condo or
a town house, because each is beautifully appointed,
offering you all the comforts of home, and then some.
Forget the
fact that the kids and you will be sharing the same house,
and not needing separate hotel rooms, and forget that you
can drink your own drinks by your own private pool, without
having to drink at hotel prices by a shared pool. All that
is likely irrelevant, unless you like your privacy and money
doesn’t mean too much to you. Probably your kids don’t
wander off by themselves, and always do as they are told –
even in their own hotel rooms.
All of
that might not matter to you, but what should matter is that
you are on vacation, and should be having a fun time, doing
stuff you don’t normally do. However, there is one thing
you don’t normally do at home that you shouldn’t have to do
on vacation: especially when on
vacation in Orlando. That’s
to live in a box. To squeeze yourselves into one room, and
try not fall over each other’s feet – particularly if you
have young children that you could NEVER leave alone in
their own room, even of they DO always do as they are told
(I wish!).
That’s
where an
Orlando vacation villa comes into its own: it
offers you living spaces, a kitchen, large bedrooms and its
own pool. You can stretch out without kicking others, and
the kids can be sent to their rooms to watch a video or play
with the Playstation provided if they get over-boisterous.
Be honest with yourself? Which would you rather have?
If you
found that the Orlando vacation home was a lot less
expensive than the hotel rooms you would need, would that
make a difference? A lot depends on how many are in your
party, but let’s say from 8 to 16. For these many you could
book a fabulous
Orlando villa in Windsor Palms resort for
less than - wait for it – less than $35 a night per person.
That’s right, less than $35 a night per person, and that
gives you the luxury of your own rooms, your pool, your
kitchen, living rooms and everything else that a luxury
villa has to offer: plasma TVs, video players, games room,
washer-dryer and so on.
Take an
example of a 6 bedroom 4 bathroom executive vacation home in
Windsor Palms resort that sleeps 12: that is $225 a night,
and if you add the 13% Florida tax it comes to just under
$255 for everybody. With 12 of you that’s just under $22
each. Now that is
value for money, and you must be nuts to prefer small rooms
in a hotel, with the price of drinks and the cost of room
service if you feel hungry late at night.
What if
your kids want a drink of orange juice in the middle of the
night – the room service charge would be more than the drink
itself. Think about it, and try to justify not choosing the
villa. If that’s not enough by itself, let’s assume that
you actually choose a resort such as
Windsor Palms
Resort in Orlando. Look at
what else you get for that money:
A movie
theatre in the complex, a fitness center, tennis and
basketball courts, a community pool and spa if you want to
be among other people and not stick to your own private
pool. How about volleyball and a playground for the
children? You are just 3 miles from Disney with a shuttle
bus all day. That just to begin with because Orlando offers
much more than just Disney World.
You also
have Universal Studios and Sea World, and all the golf you
could want. Hey, there’s a great idea! Bring your golfing
buddies here and book an
Orlando vacation home for all of
you and you have a great time together. Not having to sit
quietly in the hotel bar late at night – you have your very
own villa or condo to make as much noise as you want. Drink
your own drinks and eat your own food. Save a fortune!
Just an
idea! But it’s for Disney that most families come to
Orlando, and resorts such as
Windsor Palms resort are ideal,
being so close. You can get up and cook your own breakfast
in the morning, catch the shuttle to Disney World, and maybe
take in Universal during the day. Then back early evening,
or perhaps later after a nice meal out, and into your own
pool or spa, whichever you prefer.
Open the
fridge and crack open a couple of beers, or perhaps a bottle
of nicely chilled Chardonnay, and you are all set. A lovely
vacation that cost you less than you could possibly have
imagined. True, these
Orlando vacation villas are meant for
large parties, and that’s where you will get most benefit.
However, even with a family of 6 or so a
vacation rental in Windsor Palms Resort is
a fabulous value for money, and nobody
could in all honesty deny that.
