are so many people looking to rent a
Disney
vacation home rather than book via the
usual hotel chains? Do they know something you don't? There
are three main reasons why people choose to do this, and you
may find these fairly intriguing. The three reasons why
people choose to rent Disney homes rather than hotel rooms
are:

spaces, bathrooms, dining space and a pool, all of which are

Perhaps, after reading those three main advantages, the
question should actually be why people would rent a hotel
room rather than an
Orlando
villa rental? It almost seems too good to
be true, which is why some people never look past the
advantages, and carry on squeezing their entire family into
a single, expensive room, spending two weeks watching their
kids fly about like paranoid mosquitoes while they count the
days until they can go back to work and get some rest.
The
truth is that your children will have an even greater time
if you manage to enjoy yourself, and get plenty of rest. We
all need time off from our kids, and this just isn't
possible in a hotel room.
When
you're back at home you have no trouble relaxing - the
children are asleep upstairs, while you can sit downstairs
watching television, playing some DVDs or even relaxing by
the pool or in the spa. If this is how you relax at home
when your kids are with you all the time, why should you
sacrifice this enjoyment just because you're on holiday?
Surely being on vacation should improve your ability to
relax and enjoy yourself, not crush it into a shoebox and
shake vigorously for two weeks.

Whether you're a couple going away with one or two children,
or a double family vacation, you can definitely make

Disney World area. Typical rates start at around $130 per
night. If you assume the children are free (which in the
hotel they won't be in many cases) then this works out at
just $65 per adult per night for the two of you.
There
aren't many places where you can find a hotel rate to
compare with that, but the discounts simply increase if
there are more of you in the group. If two families combine,
with a total of four adults and a fair gaggle of children,
then you may wish to rent a huge six or
seven
bedroom vacation home or villa. This will
certainly ensure that you all have plenty of room, much more
than in a hotel, and will cost around $200 per night. Divide
between the four adults you're looking at a rate of about
$50 per night. Any less and you'd be looking at paying
campsite rates!
Privacy Advantage
With
a hotel room you have two spaces - the room, and the
bathroom. If you need to get away from the kids for a bit,
your choice is either to sit on the bidet for a while or
shuffle up and down the corridor outside along with the
other haggard looking parents who are witnessing the best
years of their life crawl out the window in bewilderment.
The
dining area becomes something of a school canteen with other
people's children either showing up your own, or behaving in
ways you'd rather your own didn't witness. If you happen to
have access to a pool, be prepared to share it with several
hundred other people, their children, and whatever their
children have added to it.
However, by renting a Disney home you have your own
bedrooms, your children have their own rooms too, plus you
will have access to a private living area, dining room,
kitchen, balcony, garden and pool. Escape and peace are mere
steps away, everything is as you want it, and the only
people you have to share your pool with are your own family.
Convenience Advantage
To be
classified as a Disney home the property must be within a
few minutes of Disney World itself, and far from being flung
far away from the action, you'll be right on top of it, with
just a few minutes between you and the chaos to give you the
chance to sit outside and relax in the peace and quiet.
With
pizza delivery services close by, 24 hour supermarkets and
even dry cleaning services for those little accidents, it's
easy to see why choosing to rent a Disney home make a good
deal more sense that paying far more for far less.
